So I wanted to make sure I updated the blog, so that anyone who reads this doesn't think that we are dead! We are alive, just 2012 has been off to an extremely busy start.
Brad- he is still teaching full-time, working on his masters project almost full-time, and still manages to private tutor lots. When he is not working, he tries to get a bit of sleep LOL...
Serena - Since the beginning of December I have been filling in for a grade 6 English and social studies teacher at the girls campus (ACA the school that Brad works for). The teacher was let go, and I have been teaching (lol me teaching???) until the new teacher comes at the beginning of Feb. In addition I have also been trying to keep up with my university course work. I am very behind on my work, but eventually I will get through it.
FORTUNATELY we are starting our two week holiday TOMORROW. Yes the bold letters are because I am very excited. I am going to try to take a holiday, but like all of them, I still bring my textbooks and school work along "thinking" that I will actually get some work done. We are going to TANZANIA tomorrow! I have always wanted to go on an safari, and it is going to happen this week. So for we will be doing an inland safari in Tanzania for a few days, and then going to Zanzibar (an island of Tanzania) for a week. I will try to post a few pictures while we are gone, but I am thinking that we will not have access to the internet very often.
Anyways, that my quick little update.
Just so you all feel slightly better in Canada, we haven't had the best weather here in Kuwait either. We finally had to start using the space heater in our apartment, and we have even gotten down to zero degrees at night. Of course is gets to about +15 during the day... but still.
Off I go, must get essay finished before I leave
Cheers,
Serena
